Preceptor Development Resources

Resources for preceptor development are available for organisations to deliver training virtually or face-to-face. The resources can be edited for an organisation’s own needs and branded, however we ask that you keep the National Preceptorship details in also.

The three resource packs available are:

Half day workshop – this is intended for preceptors who are new to the role and provides an overview of preceptorship, the framework, roles and an introduction to the tools and knowledge for managing meetings with the preceptee.

Refresher workshop – this is intended for existing preceptors to update their understanding of the preceptorship framework and roles.

Coaching workshop – this half day workshop offers an introduction to coaching skills for facilitating the preceptor/preceptee relationship.
