Why equality, diversity and inclusion are essential for the future of the mental health workforce

The Psychological Professions Network (PPN) South East recently published a blog article written by our project manager, Gracious Musariri. Gracious is the project manager for the unit’s Diversity Project titled, Our project ‘Improving access to development and career progression for minority ethnic and disabled groups within the NHS workforce’. She wrote an opinion article based on her experiences of being a woman from a minority ethnic group working for the NHS. She believes that a  diverse workforce, with equal voices, will be far better equipped to address key public health priorities and to meet the increasing service demand.
