Perinatal mental health competency framework review

We are working with Health Education England to review the perinatal mental health competency framework and to validate if competencies in this framework are still relevant and valid.  This review focuses on:

  1. Reviewing the levels of the perinatal competency framework and restructuring them against different levels of professional and clinical competence.
  2. Reviewing the language of the perinatal competency framework from equalities, diversity and inclusion perspective.
  3. Designing a standard peer review process for updating the content of competencies in the perinatal competency framework on a regular basis.
